The emphasis of this class is to make children comfortable in the water while teaching them basic swimming skills. Parent-Tot SwimParent-Tot lessons are designed to introduce infants and toddlers to the water. The emphasis of this class is to make children comfortable in the water while teaching them basic swimming skills. This instructor guided class gives parents the tools to teach their children front and back floats as well as how to put the face in the water.

Swim Lessons

Swim Team Prep & Swim Team

A year-round program for swimmers ages 6-18 that works on technique, endurance, and speed. Swimmers who are just finishing up swim lessons also have the option to join our Swim Team Prep class.  Swim Team Prep will prepare swimmers for swim team by teaching lap swimming etiquette, drills in each of the four strokes, and by building endurance slowly to ensure success.

Swim Team Prerequisites

  • Able to swim all four racing strokes – butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.  Technique is a determining factor in which group a swimmer is placed- Prep, Blue, Silver, or Gold Team.
  • Able to kick 200 yds. easily and keep up with the swim team.
  • Able to perform front and back flip-turns, as well as open turns.
  • Able to complete a swim team practice without becoming too tired.  Practice runs for an hour, with mostly continuous swimming.  Additionally, those trying out must also be able to maintain the same pace as those on the team.

Parent-Tot Swim

(Kids’ Class, Sign-up Required)

A parent and child 3 months to 5 years old in a group lesson to allow the child to become comfortable in the pool. Class Time: Saturday mornings: 10:00-10:30. Sessions start monthly.

Water Fit

A water workout for all fitness participants who require a non-weighted workout! Increase and strengthen your major muscle groups using the water’s resistance to enhance your workouts!

Family Swim

A great way for families to play and enjoy the water. A life guard is on duty during these times.
